Golf- & Country Club Liemeer, in Nieuwveen, opened in 2007. The course was designed by Alan Rijks and runs to 27 holes, laid out as two loops, at a par of 72. That is enough golf to keep a round fresh, because you can mix the loops and rarely play the same eighteen twice.
Golfers rate it warmly. On LeadingCourses it holds 8.3 out of 10 from 996 ratings, and on Hole19 it sits at 4.3 out of 5 from 112 golfers. Those are steady, happy numbers from people who come back.
Suits: this is a pay-and-play club, so you are welcome as a visitor with no membership needed. With a golf academy and lessons on site, it is a comfortable place to begin, and the full 27 holes give a growing player plenty of room to improve. Juniors are welcome too.
Booking is simple. You reserve your tee time online through the club. Before your round there is a covered, floodlit driving range, a putting green, a short-game area and practice bunkers, so you can warm up properly whatever the weather. A green fee for 18 holes is €62.50.
Afterwards the clubhouse has a pro shop, a restaurant, and a bar with a terrace, a nice spot to sit in the sun and talk over your best shots. Buggies and trolleys are there to rent if you want them.
★ Suits: golfers looking to develop their game across two loops, beginners using the on-site academy, juniors, and visitors exploring pay-and-play golf.

Marina's note for learners
A two-loop course gives a learner real variety — I encourage my students to use one loop as a practice set and the other to put new habits under pressure. If you are just starting out, a lesson at the academy before your first full round makes every hole more enjoyable.

Twenty-seven holes reward a swing you can repeat, hole after hole, more than one big drive. That steady, dependable action is the part of the game I most enjoy teaching. Get it working, and a course this size becomes a pleasure instead of a test.

The course offers 27 holes laid out as two loops, designed by Alan Rijks. From Utrecht the drive is roughly 26 minutes — a comfortable half-hour trip.
Marina Romanik teaches at Chi Chi Golf in Utrecht and Golfschool Hoenderdaal in Driebergen — not at Liemeer itself. A lesson with Marina before your round is a great way to prepare; she teaches in English, Dutch, Ukrainian and Russian and welcomes players of all levels.
