Golf Zeegersloot sits in the Groene Hart, the green heart of the Netherlands, in Alphen aan den Rijn. It has 27 holes, par 71, laid out as three separate nine-hole loops — so you shape your round to your day, not the other way around. From the club’s own description, the Griendbaan (designed by Gerard Jol) runs through open polder with strategic water and bunkers, while the Heuvelbaan (by Frank Pennink) tees off from one of the highest points in the Groene Hart, around 17 metres above sea level. Indigenous forest and nature-friendly banks frame the fairways, so the golf feels part of the landscape.
Golfers on Hole19 give it 4.1 out of 5 from 78 ratings — a warm, steady score for parkland that people come back to.
Suits improving players, juniors and families most of all. There is a covered and lit driving range, a putting green, a short-game area, practice bunkers and a golf academy on site, so there is real room to warm up and learn. With three loops you can play a quick nine or link them for a longer round, whichever fits the time you have.
Visitors are welcome, and the club takes tee times online all year at zeegersloot.nl. Bring your handicap card — a valid GVB is required for the main course. Green fees are €41.50 for nine holes and €67.50 for eighteen, and because Zeegersloot is open year-round you can plan a round in any season. When you finish, the clubhouse restaurant and terrace are a friendly place to sit.
★ Suits: improving players, junior golfers, and families who want flexible nine-hole loops and full on-site practice facilities.

Marina's note for learners
Three loops let a golfer build up at their own pace — I often suggest starting with nine and adding more as confidence grows. The academy and practice areas mean there is always somewhere to work on a specific shot before stepping onto the course.

The three loops mix open polder with rising ground, and the water on the Griendbaan rewards a ball you can place over one you simply hit hard. That balance — control before power — is the part of the game I most enjoy helping a golfer build before a round like this.
Yes — a valid handicap card (GVB) is required to play the main course. If you are still working towards your handicap, the golf academy and practice facilities on site are a great place to start.

Very much so. There is an active junior programme, a driving range, a putting green, and a golf academy on site. After your round the clubhouse restaurant and bar terrace are a welcoming spot for the whole group.
