Golf & Country Club De Tongelreep sits in Eindhoven, in Noord-Brabant, and it has kept a friendly, personal feel since it opened in 1984. The club’s own website describes it as a nine-hole parkland course — the parkland style means tree-lined fairways and green, gentle ground, the kind of setting that stays calm and pretty through the round. Nine holes is a real gift for many golfers: you can play a full, satisfying loop in an afternoon, or go round twice for a longer game, without giving up your whole day.
Golfers on Hole19 rate it 4.1 out of 5 from 71 ratings — a warm, steady score that fits everything else about this club. There is a driving range and a putting green for warming up, and a restaurant and terrace waiting for you afterwards, so the day has a proper social ending.
Suits: beginners, families and improving players first. The club runs a golf academy and a junior programme, and there is a short course to build confidence on. This is a place where a new golfer can take a lesson, practise, and then walk straight onto real holes — and where a family can all play together at their own level.
Visitors are welcome, and the club takes online tee-time bookings through golfdetongelreep.nl, so planning a round is simple. You do need a valid handicap (a GVB card) to play the course. If you are still working toward your GVB, the academy and short course are exactly the right place to get there.
On price, the green fee is friendly for a full club: around €27.50 for nine holes and €40 for eighteen. For a golfer who wants a relaxed, good-value round with proper practice facilities close by, that is an easy yes.
★ Suits: beginners working toward their GVB, juniors and families, and improving players who want a complete, friendly club with practice facilities.

Marina's note for learners
A course with an on-site academy and a short loop is exactly the right combination for a learner — you can take a lesson and then practise it on real holes in the same afternoon. I always tell students that getting their GVB feels far more achievable when good practice facilities and proper holes are right next to each other.

Nine parkland holes reward a repeatable swing and smart placement far more than raw power — the trees and the greens do the asking, not the length. That makes De Tongelreep a lovely course to be ready for, and getting ready is the part I most enjoy: a calm, dependable short game and enough control off the tee to keep the ball in play, hole after hole.
Yes — a valid GVB card or handicap certificate is required to play the course. Visitors are warmly welcome; bring your card and book your tee time online via golfdetongelreep.nl. If you are still working toward your GVB, the on-site golf academy and short course are the right place to get there.
Green fees are €27.50 for nine holes and €40 for eighteen holes — friendly for a full club with practice facilities. Check golfdetongelreep.nl or call 040 252 09 62 for the latest prices.
Yes. Golf & Country Club De Tongelreep offers online tee-time booking through their website at golfdetongelreep.nl, so planning your round is straightforward.
Very much so. There is a short course for building confidence, an on-site golf academy where you can take a lesson and then practise on real holes straight away, and a junior programme for young players. The nine-hole layout also keeps the round manageable in time and energy.
Yes — the club has a restaurant and a terrace where you can sit down, enjoy a meal or drink, and talk over your round. A lovely social end to the day.
Marina teaches at Chi Chi Golf in Utrecht and Golfschool Hoenderdaal in Driebergen, not at De Tongelreep. A lesson with Marina before your round is a great way to get the most out of a course like this — book online, send a WhatsApp, or give her a call.
