Golf Duinzicht is a 9-hole, par-29 course set on Landgoed Duyngheest, on the border of Den Haag and Wassenaar. From the club’s own description, the holes wind through forest and dune landscape, with trees, shrubs and water in play and undulating greens that keep every approach interesting. It is a compact layout, so a full round moves quickly — you can play the nine, and if you have time, play them again to work on a shot.
Golfers rate it warmly. On LeadingCourses it holds 7.0 out of 10 from 44 ratings, and on Hole19 it scores 4.3 out of 5 from 20 ratings. golf.nl lists it as an NGF-affiliated club (checked 26 September 2026).
Suits: a short, walkable par-29 in the dunes is a friendly place for beginners and juniors, and it suits busy golfers who want a real round without a full day. There is a driving range, a putting green and practice bunkers to warm up, plus a golf academy on site.
Golf Duinzicht welcomes visitors as an introduction club, so you play as the guest of a member. The club is NGF-affiliated and asks for a valid handicap (GVB) before you tee off. You can book your tee time online. The green fee is €39 for nine holes and €40 for the day, which sits in the mid-range for the Netherlands — always check golfduinzicht.nl or call 070-3246598, since rates shift by season.
After your round there is a restaurant with a terrace, and buggy, club and trolley rental, lockers and showers if you need them.
★ Suits: beginners and juniors learning the game, and experienced golfers who enjoy precise dune approach play.

Marina's note for learners
A par-29 dunes layout is almost entirely short irons and approach shots — the skills that make the biggest difference to a learner's score. Ask reception about the intro-member requirement before booking your first visit.

A par-29 in the dunes is nearly all short irons and approach play, and those undulating greens reward a soft, accurate touch over raw power. That is the part of the game I most enjoy teaching — a repeatable half-swing and confident putting turn a quick nine like this into a very satisfying score.
Yes — you need a valid GVB card or handicap certificate to tee off. Golf Duinzicht is NGF-affiliated and operates as an introduction club, so you also need to come as a guest of a member. No membership of your own is required.
Nine holes cost €39 and a full day (playing the nine twice) is €40 — good value for a well-kept dunes course. Rates can change by season, so check golfduinzicht.nl or call 070-3246598 before you go.
Yes, tee times at Golf Duinzicht can be booked online via the club's website at golfduinzicht.nl.
Yes — the compact 9-hole, par-29 layout is genuinely beginner-friendly: rounds are quick, the dune terrain rewards accuracy over power, and you can play the nine twice to practise. Juniors are welcome, and there is a golf academy on site if you want a lesson before or after your round.
The club has a driving range, putting green, practice bunkers, buggy, club and trolley rental, lockers and showers, and a restaurant with a terrace — everything you need for a comfortable day out.
Marina teaches at Chi Chi Golf in Utrecht and Golfschool Hoenderdaal in Driebergen — not at Golf Duinzicht itself. A lesson at one of those locations is a great way to prepare: a par-29 dunes course is almost entirely short irons and approach play, exactly the shots that improve fastest with a little coaching.
