Golf De Gulbergen is a 27-hole parkland course in Mierlo, laid out over two loops with a par of 70 and about 5,655 metres from the back tees. From the club’s own description, it sits on the highest point of Noord-Brabant — “het dak van Brabant”, the roof of Brabant — with wide, open views across the countryside. Golfers on LeadingCourses give it 7.7 out of 10 from 435 ratings, and on Hole19 it scores 4.2 out of 5 across 88 ratings, so the good feeling is well shared.
Twenty-seven holes means you can play a flexible round: nine, eighteen, or the full loop when time allows. The style is gentle parkland — rolling and playable rather than punishing.
Suits: club golfers and guests who want the freedom of 27 holes, and improving players who want a real academy right where they play. If you are building your game, the practice ground here does a lot of the work for you.
You do not need to be a member to play, but you do need a valid GVB card or handicap certificate — Golf De Gulbergen welcomes visitors on an introduction basis, and tee times book online at golfdegulbergen.nl or on 0492-592455. A round is €44 for 9 holes and €54 for 18.
The academy on site is well stocked: a covered and floodlit driving range, a putting green, a short-game and chipping area, and practice bunkers. There is a restaurant, a bar and a terrace for after the round. Still working towards your GVB? This is a fine place to earn it.
★ Suits: club golfers and guests seeking flexible 27-hole play, and improving players using the full on-site academy and practice facilities

Marina's note for learners
Playing from sloping, rolling lies asks for solid, repeatable contact — I'd spend a few minutes on that before the round, and the covered, floodlit driving range makes warm-up easy in any weather. If you are still working towards your GVB, the on-site academy is the right place to start.

Rolling parkland like this gives you plenty of uneven, sloping lies, and those reward one thing above all: solid, repeatable contact. That is the part I most like to help players with before a round on a course like Gulbergen — a warm-up under the covered range, a few minutes on balance, and suddenly those tilted stances feel normal.
Yes — Golf De Gulbergen is a members-with-introduction course and requires a valid GVB card or handicap certificate to play. You do not need a membership; visitors are welcome with a prior introduction. If you are still working towards your GVB, the on-site golf academy is a great starting point — and a few lessons with Marina Romanik will build the skills and confidence you need.
A 9-hole round costs €44 and an 18-hole round is €54. With 27 holes across two loops you can also mix and match the length that suits your day.

Yes. The rolling parkland is open and playable, and the club has a full golf academy on site — including a covered, floodlit driving range, putting green, short-game and chipping area, and practice bunkers. A lesson with Marina Romanik before your first round is a great way to feel confident from the first tee.
Yes — the clubhouse has a full restaurant, a bar, and a terrace, all set on the highest point of Noord-Brabant with wide countryside views. A very pleasant place to sit after 18 or 27 holes.
Marina teaches at Chi Chi Golf in Utrecht and Golfschool Hoenderdaal in Driebergen, not at Golf De Gulbergen. A lesson with her at one of those locations before your visit is a great way to prepare — sloping, rolling parkland like Gulbergen rewards solid, repeatable ball contact, and that is exactly what she focuses on.
